Only when you want it to. You can configure the kill switch to only activate when VPN is intentionally connected. If you manually disconnect, internet works normally.

Does kill switch work on mobile?+

On Android, we use Always-On VPN with 'Block connections without VPN' setting. On iOS, we use on-demand VPN rules for similar protection.
